Florissant Valley Health & Rehab in Florissant, MO is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring senior care team. Nights shift 7pm–7am, full-time and part-time options available, with benefits and tuition assistance.

Highlights include a $8,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying full-time candidates, PTO, holidays with premium pay, 401(k) with company match, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage. Candidates must be LPN licensed and CPR certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Maintain working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and all levels.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing.
• Provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assigns nursing care to team members per resident needs.
• Administers medications and starts IVs.
• Documents treatments and ensures equipment is clean and safe.
