Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for full-time night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) at a Mount Olive, NC facility. You will work under an RN to deliver nursing care, evaluate residents, and administer medications, while supervising unlicensed staff to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires an LPN diploma and current state licensure or pending licensure, plus BLS/CPR certification. Benefits include health/dental/vision, life insurance, 401K and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
