Good Samaritan in Canistota, SD is seeking an LPN to join our nursing team for full-time night-shift coverage. The role includes delivering nursing care to residents in a long-term setting, under supervision by physicians or APNs.

You will document care, participate in an interdisciplinary team, and ensure resident safety and comfort. The position requires an accredited LPN program graduate, an active unencumbered LPN license, and adherence to department competencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license and maintain required competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in long-term resident care under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor resident status.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes; communicate with the care team.
