Job summary
The Blossoms in Arkansas is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our long-term care team. You will perform rounds to observe residents' physical, emotional and social needs, prepare medication charts, and administer treatments under nursing supervision.
You will consult with physicians and communicate with the director of nursing and staff. Must hold a valid Arkansas LPN license (or a compact license) and have minimum 2 years in long-term care, with excellent communication and leadership
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and licensed in Arkansas or have a compact license.
- Long term care nursing experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience in a long term care environment.
Responsibilities
- Observe and evaluate residents' physical, emotional and social needs during rounds.
- Prepare and administer medication charts as required.
- Administer treatments as directed by physicians.
- Consult with physicians regarding patient care.
- Communicate with director of nursing and staff regarding patient status.
