Job summary

Coho Integrated Solutions seeks a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care for officer trainees, cadets, and staff at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL. The role involves clinical duties, vaccination support, and medical record management within a structured military health program.

Proceeding candidates must hold an active LPN license and BLS, with at least 24 months of outpatient experience; flexible schedule with weekday hours. U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing practices, patient care procedures, medical terminology and clinical safety.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, customer relations, and patient advocacy.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, internet applications and electronic health records.
• Ability to enter and retrieve patient information from electronic systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses and other healthcare personnel.
• Ability to recognize and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess medical care quality; participate in self-evaluation/peer reviews.
• Complete administrative tasks related to the clinical position accurately and timely.
• Provide trainee health support.
• Conduct medical record screenings and transcription into EHR; assist with labs and vaccines.
