Recover-Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. The role focuses on providing exceptional nursing care to residents in a compassionate setting.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing the clinical care and quality of life of residents and ensuring that all resident rights are protected.
• Preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.
• Checking residents daily to ensure prescribed treatment is being properly administered and to evaluate their physical and emotional status.
• Keeping the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff and related matters.
• Implementing recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses.
• Administering professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, dressing changes, etc., as established by policies.
• Completing all LPN record-keeping forms upon resident admission, discharge, transfer, etc. and filing appropriately.
• Giving and receiving nursing reports at shift start/end.
• Investigating complaints and grievances and making necessary reports to supervisors.
• Presenting in a professional image to residents and families.
• Adhering to policies and standards.
