Baptist Senior Family in Pittsburgh is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. You will administer medications, support daily living activities, and contribute to care plans under regulatory standards.

This role offers full-time/part-time options with shifts that fit your schedule, a pay rate of $30–$32.50 per hour plus shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• LPN license required.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to read, write and document reports accurately.
• Team-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Current PA Class C Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, per standards.
• Assists residents with ADLs, meals, and care needs.
• Ensures restorative and rehabilitative care plans are followed and documented.
• Performs IV therapy and assists with admissions and discharges.
• Directs nurse aides in providing resident care and maintains teamwork.
• Documents in nurses’ records, care plans, and flow sheets.
• Ensures infection control practices and safety protocols.
• Demonstrates nursing procedures and interprets vital signs.
• Communicates with residents, families, and visitors.
• Participates in quality improvement and regulatory training.
