Job summary

Tallgrass Healthcare Campus in Junction City, KS is seeking a licensed nurse (LPN) for our memory care unit. You’ll provide compassionate, person-centered nursing care, support CNAs, ensure timely charting, and administer medications in a calm, structured environment.

We offer consistent schedules, sign-on bonus, and a strong memory care team dedicated to quality care and teamwork. Eligibility includes a Kansas LPN license and preferred dementia certification.

Qualifications

• Memory care experience preferred.
• Certified Dementia Provider preferred.
• Current Kansas LPN license.
• Compact Nurse license accepted.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered nursing care in memory care unit.
• Lead and support nursing assistants in accordance with regulations and best practices.
• Ensure accurate and timely charting and documentation every shift.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Help create a calm, structured, and supportive environment for residents.
• Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized care areas.
• Show reliability through strong attendance and punctuality.
• Protect resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.

$7,000.00 FT Sign-on Bonus

• Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (No scheduled weekends!)

At Tallgrass Healthcare Campus, we want you caring for our memory care residents.

We are a 100-bed skilled nursing facility, with 22 dedicated memory care beds, and our memory care team is built on compassion, consistency, and teamwork. We’re looking for a skilled and caring RN or LPN who has a passion for memory care and wants to work in an environment where quality care and teamwork truly matter.

What You’ll Do as a Memory Care Nurse LPN
