Sunrise Senior Living is hiring an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications, monitor residents, and maintain accurate MAR/TAR documentation. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory adherence, and timely reporting of changes in residents’ health.

The position requires an Active LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation skills; prior senior care or medication administration experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards
