Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate MAR/TAR documentation in a senior living setting.

You will monitor residents, transcribe orders, update care plans, and report changes promptly to protect resident safety and quality of life, while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts and complete narcotic counts.
