Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support with safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation in a senior living setting.

The role focuses on adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitoring resident health while supporting care plans and regulatory compliance. Strong assessment and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards
• You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

What We’re Looking For:

Pay Range:

31.90 - 42.60
