Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications, monitor residents, and document care per physician orders.

You will follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, maintain MAR/TAR accuracy, report changes promptly, and support care plans. The role includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within Sunrise.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.

Pay Range: 29.25 - 39.05
