The Christ Hospital is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support physicians in providing quality patient care in a clinic setting. You will assist with examination and treatment under physician direction, document medical histories, update medication lists, and maintain EMR records with accuracy.

Responsibilities include patient triage, scheduling, check-in/out, and pre-certifications for prescriptions and procedures.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical nursing.
• Must currently be licensed in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains patient flow during clinic hours and documents review of systems and vital signs.
• Updates medical, social and family history and reviews medications at each visit.
• Records patient information in the EMR accurately.
• Assists with triage, scheduling, check-in/out, and pre-certifications for prescriptions, procedures, and surgeries.
• Operates EKG and other equipment for routine diagnostic tests as assigned, including phlebotomy and cast removal as needed.
• Ensures infection control and a safe work environment; protects patient confidentiality.
