The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support physicians in delivering high-quality patient care in a clinic setting.

The LPN will assist with patient intake, vital signs, medication administration under physician direction, EMR documentation, and patient education, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Ohio regulations. This role requires 1-3 years of LPN experience and an Ohio license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical nursing.
• Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.
• 1-3 years LPN experience required; physician office experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Maintains patient flow during clinic hours; documents review of systems; measures vital signs; updates medical histories; abstracts new procedures; reviews medications and updates medication list; records in EMR.
• Assesses patient needs in collaboration with the registered nurse in determining nursing care needs.
• Prepares patient charts in EMR for visits; processes test results and external records to ensure complete charts.
• Refills medications per MD orders and coordinates with patient/pharmacy/insurance as needed.
• Performs basic triage, responds to MyChart, manages calls, schedules appointments, and handles pre-certifications as needed.
• Operates EKG and other equipment; assists with phlebotomy and other duties per protocol, including injections as allowed by licensure.
• Maintains safe environment and confidentiality; adheres to legal requirements for medical assistants.
