Job summary

Minden Medical Center is seeking an LPN/Medical Assistant for our Minden Primary Care location. This role supports smooth, timely patient care and provider teamwork across MPP sites, with responsibilities including rooming, vitals, procedure assistance, and documenting in Athena EHR.

You will work a 7am–7pm shift every Friday at MMC of Haughton Clinic and then float to other MPP clinics the rest of the week, ensuring accurate handoffs and efficient patient flow throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana LPN license or Medical Assistant certification.
• Physician office experience preferred.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and preparing exam spaces.
• Assisting with procedures and administering care within scope.
• Performing basic clinical testing (e.g., spirometry, glucose checks) and documenting in Athena EHR.
• Coordinating messages, orders, and follow-up communication with patients and the care team.
• Using standard clinical and office equipment safely and accurately.
