Job summary

Minden Medical Center is seeking a well-organized LPN/Medical Assistant for our Minden Primary Care location to support smooth, timely patient care and provider teams across MMC locations.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and documenting in Athena EHR. Current LA licensure or MA cert is required, with BLS within 90 days of hire and physician office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana LPN license or Medical Assistant certification.
• Physician office experience preferred.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, and prepare exam spaces.
• Assist with procedures and provide care within scope.
• Perform basic clinical testing (e.g., spirometry, glucose checks) and document in Athena EHR.
• Coordinate messages, orders, and follow-up with patients and care team.
• Use standard clinical and office equipment safely and accurately.
