Position Summary:
As a n LPN or Medical Assistant, you will be at the heart of our mission to deliver exceptional family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents. Working collaboratively with providers and RNs, your role will be integral in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and the well-being of our patients. The schedule for this position will be:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays - 7:45am-5:00pm
Thursdays - 8:45am-5:00pm
Your Key Responsibilities :
Patient Care: Escort patients to exam rooms, document information accurately, vital signs, and create a welcoming environment for every visit.
Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications and injections under the direction of a clinician.
Assisting with Procedures: Play a hands-on role in treatments and procedures such as hearing and vision tests, rapid strep testing, nebulizer treatments, circumcisions, and urine catheterizations.
Lab Expertise: Perform laboratory specimen collection and processing with precision, ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.
Compliance and Knowledge: Stay current with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain the clinic's high standards of care.
Required:
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR completion of an LPN/LVN or RN program.
Preferred:
*1 year experience in a clinic setting or completion of Medical Assistant externship at a Children's Minnesota Clinic.
*Pediatric experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Phlebotomy and basic laboratory skills (if required by clinic site).
License/Certifications:
*Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
