Job summary

Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for night shift. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, under RN supervision, in a 358-bed tertiary-care setting with a rich history and compassionate community focus.

The role requires an active LVN license, BLS, and IV certification. You will join a team dedicated to quality care, education, and patient-family communication in a dynamic teaching environment.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
