Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN, including EMTALA-guided ER triage, in Bristol, Pennsylvania.

This full-time night-shift role requires a current state LVN license, BLS certification, IV certification, and BW certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire; Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice.
• Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrate knowledge of EMTALA regulations and triage process in the ER setting.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and triage process in the ER setting.
