Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking an LPN for Med Pass with IV responsibilities in the Progressive Care unit at Upper Valley Medical Center. The role runs 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, totaling 24 hours per week and 72 hours per pay period.

The LPN administers patient care under RN supervision and adheres to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and facility policies. Qualified candidates hold an Ohio LPN license and current BLS certification prior to orientation.

General Summary/Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/ indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others.

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Diploma Program Diploma Program

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Current healthcare provider BLS certification required prior to completion of orientation

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
