Job summary

Premier Health is seeking an LPN – Med Pass – IV for the Progressive Care unit at Upper Valley Medical Center. You will administer patient care under the supervision of an RN and collaborate with the nursing team to support timely, safe patient care on evenings.

This full-time role features a 7 PM to 7:30 AM shift, 36 hours per week, and requires Ohio LPN licensure and current BLS. Strong multitasking and interpersonal skills are essential to maintain quality care in a fast-paced environment.

General Summary/Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/ indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others.

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Diploma Program Diploma Program

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Current healthcare provider BLS certification required prior to completion of orientation

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
