Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Illinois is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications, monitor residents, and maintain accurate MAR/TAR documentation in a compliant, safety-focused environment.

You will follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, transcribe physician orders, and report changes promptly while supporting care plans and resident well-being within our senior living community.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards

What We're Looking For:

• Active LPN license in good standing

Pay Range:

29.25 - 39.05
