Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc in the United States is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to administer medications and document care for residents in a senior living setting. You will follow physician orders, monitor patient status, and support up-to-date care plans in a compliant environment.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience in senior care or medication administration.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
