Job Overview

The LPN Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality of care by administering medication and treatments safely and organized. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, conducting SHUs, and providing resident care, all in accordance with laws, regulations, and Sunrise policies to ensure the highest quality of care.

  • Medication Administration: Administer medications, review logs, receive updates, document, and ensure confidentiality.
  • Resident Care: Notify concerns, participate in meetings, develop care plans, and transcribe orders.
  • Risk Management and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, report incidents, and practice proper safety procedures.
  • Training and Team Contribution: Participate in team activities, meetings, and training sessions. May supervise others.
Qualifications

Must have a valid LPN, LVN, or equivalent license, maintain certifications like CPR and First Aid, and meet age and experience requirements. Prior experience with seniors is preferred. Must demonstrate good judgment, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
