Job summary

Eastside, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse at 516 Mount Hope Avenue, Bangor, Maine. In a full-time day position, you will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and contribute to care plans for residents.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, supervise CNAs, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in ongoing training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Valid state LPN license
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Interest in nursing the aged and chronically ill
• Strong clinical skills including medications administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Supervising and supporting CNAs in delivering care
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
