Job summary

SOUTHERN HEALTH PARTNERS INC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Cherokee County Detention Center in Gaffney, SC. This full-time day shift role operates on a rotating schedule with every other weekend.

You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor conditions, and maintain accurate EMR records while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and detention staff. A sign-on and retention bonus is available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SC LPN license.
• Experience in clinical settings preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff
• Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
