The MDS Nurse RAC reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and coordination of the RAI process. This role oversees Medicare, Medicaid (case mix), and managed care to ensure appropriate clinical services and reimbursement. The position also ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. As a key member of the management team, the MDS Nurse RAC helps the facility achieve and maintain quality outcomes.
