Starkville Manor Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified LPN to serve as MDS Coordinator, overseeing Resident Assessment Instrument processes to support care planning and reimbursement.

As an MDS Coordinator, you will work with an interdisciplinary team, ensure accurate assessments, and help keep regulatory compliance, with competitive benefits and flexible scheduling options in Starkville, Mississippi.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• 6+ months of experience as an MDS Coordinator.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/ Rehabilitation preferred.
• RAC-CT or RNAC certification preferred.
• A detail-oriented, compassionate professional with a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination and participate in the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS, CAA's, and Care Plan) in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
• Monitor and document the management of Medicare and Managed Care residents, working closely with the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure accuracy in resident assessments to support reimbursement and high-quality care.
• Drive innovation by implementing new ideas and process improvements.
• Stay up to date with regulations and best practices to maintain compliance.
