Job summary

JumpStart Games is seeking an LPN or Medical Assistant to support clinical services with telephone triage, medication administration, and patient education. The ideal candidate will respond to emergencies, document medical information per policy, and assist physicians in a fast-paced office environment.

Candidates should have an active Florida LPN license or an accredited MA program with certification in progress.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program and hold an active Florida LPN license.
• MA track requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year MA experience; MA cert within 90 days.
• Current BLS certification or to be completed within 90 days of employment; 1 year in primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and evaluates patient needs via telephone triage.
• Administers medications including injections and documents as required.
• Identifies patient/family education needs and provides instruction.
• Recognizes and responds to emergencies as appropriate.
• Follows Clinical Services policies for documenting medical records.
• Maintains patient flow and assists physician with office procedures.
• Maintains the integrity of the office.
