Job summary

Park Nicollet Urgent Care is hiring an LPN/MA/EMT to join our urgent care team as a Partner for Good, delivering timely, high-quality patient care.

This role involves escorting patients, documenting vitals, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth rooming and charting while complying with policies and safety standards. Varied shifts with a sign-on bonus eligible and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current state LPN license and BLS certification required.
• For MA, graduate from an accredited Medical Assisting program and BLS certification.
• For EMT, high school diploma or GED and Minnesota EMT license with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vitals like height, weight, and blood pressure.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Perform and assist with procedures and treatments (e.g., EKGs, bladder scans).
• Ensure rooming processes are complete, including medication reconciliation and forms.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and standards.

***SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE*** Park Nicollet is looking to hire a LPN/MA/EMT to join our Urgent Care team!

Position Summary:

• Escorting patients to exam rooms and appropriately documenting necessary visit information and vitals such as height, weight, and blood pressure.
• Preparing and administering medications, and immunizations as directed by a clinician, RN or following standing orders.
• Perform and assist with procedures and treatments as directed by the clinician, such as administering, ear lavage, EKG's, and bladder scans.
• Ensuring all the components are of the standard rooming process are completed including medication reconciliation and pending refills, allergy review, immunization reconciliation, completion of appropriate forms and questionnaires to support clinical quality.
• Maintaining knowledge of, and complying with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures, and standards.

Clinic Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 8:00am-8:00pm, Saturdays & Sundays 8:00am-5:00pm, Holiday's 8:00am-5:00pm

Work Schedule: Varied shifts Monday-Thursday. Every other Friday 2-c, Saturday and Sunday 745-close. One holiday per year.

Required Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) :

Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.

Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing.

Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

OR

Medical Assistant (MA) :

Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by "The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).

Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

OR

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) : High school diploma or GED and current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

Must meet one of the following:

Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years pharmacy technician experience OR

Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current Minnesota EMT License

Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications:

One or more years of healthcare experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
