Summit Medical Group at Pistol Creek (Alcoa) seeks an experienced LPN, CCMA, or RMA to join our on-site team in a full-time capacity. The role supports clinicians with exams, patient prep, vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and educational guidance.

Ideal candidates have a credentialed nursing or medical assisting program, a TN Practical Nursing license or MA certification, and preferably one year of medical office experience. A wellness program is offered to employees.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program in Practical Nursing or Medical Assisting.
• Current TN license in Practical Nursing or National Certification in Medical Assisting, or EMT license.

Responsabilités

• Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares them for examinations and procedures.
• Records vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, height, etc.).
• Performs procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, Holter monitors, etc.
• Assists physicians with procedures and administers medications; provides patient education.
• Handles nurse triage, pre-certifications, referrals, and calling in prescriptions.
• Performs clerical duties for physicians and contacts patients regarding test results.
• Schedules patient appointments and maintains organized exam rooms and staff areas.
