Job summary

Summit Medical Group on Parkwest in Knoxville, TN is seeking experienced RN, LPN, EMT or CMA/RMA to join their clinical practice on a full-time, on-site basis. The role involves direct patient care, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and assisting physicians with procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN, LPN, EMT or CMA/RMA status required.
• Current Tennessee RN or Practical Nursing license or CMA/RMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for exams per physician preferences.
• Record vital signs: pulse, blood pressure, height, weight, etc.
• Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and holter monitoring.
• Assist physicians with procedures and med administration; provide patient education.
• Handle phone triage, pre-certifications, referrals, and prescription calls.
• Prepare and maintain patient records; contact patients regarding results as directed.
• Schedule appointments efficiently and maintain neat exam rooms and work areas.
• Follow all policies, OSHA/HIPAA guidelines, and site-specific protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in quality improvement activities.
