HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for PRN tele-position opportunities. The role focuses on safe, high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, with responsibilities spanning medication administration, patient monitoring, and coordination with the care team.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license is required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (AHA) must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• IV Therapy must be obtained within 90 days of start date

Responsabilités

• Providing focused nursing care for patients with complex needs by administering medications, managing lines or drains, and assisting with interventions like cardiac monitoring or respiratory support
• Closely observing patients for changes in status and escalating concerns quickly to support early intervention
• Documenting timely, accurate updates to help the care team coordinate effectively in a high-acuity environment
• Helping patients and families understand complex conditions and recovery steps with clarity and comfort
• Working closely with RNs, providers, and specialists to stabilize patients and guide them through recovery from intensive care
