Job summary

Corona Regional is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a subacute position in California. The LVN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, implementing nursing care for assigned patients and supporting the RN in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.

Qualified candidates hold a California LVN/LPN license and current BLS (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association; the role emphasizes patient care, service quality, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California.
• Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• The LPN/LVN practices under the direction of the professional Registered Nurse (RN) and implements nursing care for assigned patients.
• Assists the RN in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of nursing care.
• Demonstrates competency in basic patient care skills and handles clerical tasks, phlebotomy and other department duties as requested.
