Job summary

San Diego Post Acute is seeking an LVN for a Subacute-PT healthcare role in a California facility. The LVN will oversee day-to-day nursing operations, supervise nursing assistants, ensure adherence to policies, and coordinate with physicians around resident care plans.

Responsibilities include medication administration, narcotics control, and preparing/updating care plans in alignment with physician orders, while maintaining regulatory compliance and professional nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Language Skills: must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing service operations and supervise nursing assistants.
• Review and update treatment plans and coordinate with physicians.
• Administer medications as ordered and ensure proper narcotics records.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Staff development, scheduling, and supervision of nursing personnel.
