Elite Medical Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for skilled nursing facility opportunities in Danville, VA. This per diem role offers weekday and overnight shifts with a pay rate of $37/hour and flexible scheduling to fit your availability.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of LPN experience, a valid VA LPN license, and the ability to travel to assigned facilities. Facility-specific onboarding and screenings may apply; EMR Matrix is used for charting and patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Responsibilities

• Utilize EMR Matrix to record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly report significant changes to the appropriate clinical team
• Measure, record, and maintain accurate resident health information and vital signs
• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care and other treatments within scope of practice
• Assist with resident assessments and implementation of individualized care plans
• Accurately document medications, treatments, observations, and resident responses
• Support and collaborate with CNAs and other healthcare team members to provide quality care
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

• Active and unencumbered VALPN License or Compact LPN License
