Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta, part of Universal Health Services, invites a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its nursing team in Augusta, GA. The LPN will deliver patient-centered care within a psychiatric setting, under clinical supervision, and coordinate medication management and treatment plans for residents with psychiatric disorders.

The role emphasizes safety, crisis management, comprehensive assessments, and support of a therapeutic environment across residential units.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Georgia or eligible to receive/renew.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Prefer one year psychiatric experience with adolescents and adults in an acute hospital or residential setting.

Responsibilities

• To provide safety, supervision and crisis management.
• To provide assessment and medical management, and to support the management of a therapeutic environment.
• Responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.

LCCA currently has exciting opportunities for exceptional Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). The Licensed Practical Nurse is a key member of the Lighthouse Nursing Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient‑centric strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high‑quality and cost‑effective treatment and medication management is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.
