The GEO Group's GEO Secured Services in Adelanto, CA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our custody healthcare team. You’ll provide nursing care alongside an RN, develop care plans, and help maintain a safe, compliant healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN license in the state where the facility is located.
• Two years of direct nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow through.

Responsabilités

• Develop nursing care plans with guidance from the RN.
• Perform complete physical assessments and medical history.
• Provide nursing care within your capacity and refer issues to the physician.
• Administer prescribed medications as instructed.
• Evaluate patients’ symptoms and progress and report problems.
• Securely administer medication and prevent hoarding/trafficking.
• Document detainee contacts and maintain confidential medical records.
