Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an LPN/LVN for a 13-week LTC assignment in the Union, SC area. Day shifts are 3x12 hours with a high patient census, so comfort with a 1:44 ratio and geriatric care is essential.

Prior LTC experience is preferred, but first-timers may be considered; license must be obtained before starting and BLS certification is required. Responsibilities include ambulation, feeding tube care, oxygen administration, and pressure ulcer assessment, with EPIC charting experience

Qualifications

• Pending license accepted, must obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Long-Term Care setting.
• Manage high patient census and monitor geriatric patients including dementia.
• Assist with ambulation and activities of daily living.
• Perform feeding tube care, oxygen administration and pressure ulcer assessment.

Description:Position in Long-Term Care setting.Must be available to work as needed on weekends.Candidate should possess prior experience with patient ratios.Experience with geriatric populations including dementia, heart disease, and chronic renal failure is preferred.Skills in ambulation, feeding tube care, oxygen administration, and pressure ulcer assessment are essential.Daily census averages around 100 patients.Additional interdisciplinary support available.Compliance with attendance policies required.Travelers must pass orientation testing.Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred but not required.
