Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Florida is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to deliver patient-centered care under the supervision of an RN, following hospital policies. You will collect data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures for a diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate will hold current LPN/LVN licensure in the state and BLS certification, with preferred inpatient med-surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Preferred: prior experience in emergency or critical care environments; vents/trachs/PICC lines; two years of direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Deliver care in an age- and population-appropriate manner per PAM Health policies.
