Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our patient‑centered team. The LVN/LPN provides nursing care under an RN's direction, gathers data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures appropriate to the patient population.

Qualifications include active LPN/LVN licensure in the state (or compact licensure), current BLS (AHA approved within 90 days), and IV certification where required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN licensure in the state or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days if required by state regulations.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report patient data and progress.
• Carry out orders and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Ensure care is appropriate for the patient’s age and population.
