Responsibilities

• Initiates, performs, and completes assigned nursing duties.
• Provide a full range of practical nursing care to patients with varied conditions.
• May train less experienced staff and act as a preceptor.
• Prepares and administers prescribed medications and documents patient responses.
• Recognizes urgent or emergent patient care situations and initiates appropriate interventions.
• Maintain patient safety and report equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
