Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our inpatient nursing team. The LVN/LPN will provide nursing care under the direction of an RN, collect data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures according to patient needs and PAM Health policies.

Ideal candidates hold current LPN/LVN licensure (or compact license), BLS certification, and may need IV certification depending on state requirements.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required.
• BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.
• Gathers and reports patient data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures.
• Delivers age- and population-appropriate care in line with PAM Health policies.
