Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our care team. The role involves providing appropriate nursing care under an RN direction, gathering and reporting data, and performing therapeutic procedures with age-appropriate patient care in a multi-location, post-acute setting.

Required licensure in state or compact, BLS certification (AHA approved within 90 days), and IV certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
• Gathers and reports data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
