Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Correctional Facility opportunities in Alexander, AR. This position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and the ability to pick up shifts that fit your availability.

We are seeking dependable, experienced nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and can quickly and confidently adapt to new facility environments.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of experience under an active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in correctional facilities.
• Reliable transportation to assigned facilities.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk with frequent bending, reaching and lifting with proper body mechanics.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing to complete background and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Utilize EMR to record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly report significant changes to the clinical team.
• Measure, record, and maintain accurate resident health information and vital signs.
• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care and other treatments within scope of practice.
• Assist with resident assessments and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Document medications, treatments, observations, and resident responses.
• Support and collaborate with CNAs and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

An LPN picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at aCorrectional Facilitymay be expected to:

• Measure, record, and maintain accurate resident health information and vital signs
• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care and other treatments within scope of practice
• Assist with resident assessments and implementation of individualized care plans
• Accurately document medications, treatments, observations, and resident responses
• Support and collaborate with CNAs and other healthcare team members to provide quality care
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in correctional facilities
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Credentials Required

• Active and unencumbered ARLPN License or Compact LPN License
• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
• CPR/BLS
• Resume
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
