• Detention/correctional or residential healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within scope of practice and in accordance with licensure and competencies.
• Administers medications as ordered via multiple routes.
• Performs pre-screening and intake, uses tools for data collection and referrals as needed.
• Performs treatments such as wound care and vital sign checks as ordered.
• Collects specimens and processes lab results; responds to abnormal findings.
• Responds to emergencies and stabilizes patients for transfer when needed.
• Supports other healthcare professionals through data gathering and patient education.
