Job summary

HJ Staffing is seeking experienced LVN/LPNs for a 6-month contract at Brenham Living Center in Texas. You will provide direct nursing care to individuals with IDD, psychiatric needs, and dual diagnoses, working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Orientation is required (New Employee Orientation and Nursing Education, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm for ~2 weeks). You must be fully credentialed and ready to start immediately after offer, with availability for full-time 40 hours

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Texas LVN/LPN license
• Experience working with IDD, psychiatric, and dual-diagnosis populations
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Fully credentialed and employed with HJ Staffing, ready to start immediately after offer
• Availability for the full 6-month commitment, 40 hours/week, including 3 weekends per month
• Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and the ability to learn quickly

About the Role

HJ Staffing is hiring experienced LVN/LPNs for a 6-month contract at Brenham Living Center, a Texas HHSC facility. You'll provide nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), psychiatric needs, and dual diagnoses. This is a fast-moving environment, and we're looking for nurses who are reliable, adaptable, and ready to start right away.

Shifts Available

All shifts are 8 hours with a 30-minute break, and the schedule includes 3 weekends per month.

Orientation (Required)

Before starting your regular shifts, you must attend every day of New Employee Orientation and Nursing Education, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, for approximately 2 weeks. The training is fast-tracked and missed classes are difficult to reschedule, so attendance and punctuality are essential.
