Job summary

Biogensys is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to support clients in Brenham, TX. You must hold a current, unencumbered nursing license and pass a background check and drug screen. Credentialing and an immediate start are required as early as 9/22/26, with a closing date of 10/1/26 for unfilled roles.

Shifts include 5:45 AM–2:15 PM, 1:45 PM–10:15 PM, and 9:45 PM–6:15 AM. Orientation and nursing education run Monday–Friday for about two weeks, with a six-month commitment for 40 hours

• Must be able to adapt quickly and learn fast.
• Must work independently and in a team.

We are hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for one of our clients in Brenham, TX.

Job Description

• Nurses must have a background of working with the IDD, psych, and Dual diagnoses.
• Nurses must be able to adapt quickly to changes and be fast learners.
• They must be able to work independently and in a team.
• We need STRONG, competent, reliable, and experienced nurses.
• Attendance and punctuality is imperative during the orientation period as this is a fast-tracked train it is difficult to reschedule the classes once missed.
• LVN/LPNs must have a current unencumbered nursing license, pass a background check, and drug screening.
• MUST be credentialed, employed and ready to start immediately after the offer as an any day hire by the tentative start date as early as 9/22/26.
• Closing date for these openings will be 10/1/26 if the positions are not filled.
• This is very short notice so we will do our best to work with you.

Unfortunately we would not be able to wait for the 2 week waiting/credentialing period at this time.

Work Hours

• We are currently looking to fill 10 openings
• 3 nurses for 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM
• 3 nurses for 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM
• 4 nurses for 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM.
• All nurses are entitled to a 30-minute break during their 8-hour shift.
• Nurses will be expected to attend EVERY day of New Employee Orientation and Nursing Education Monday-Friday 8a-5p for approximately 2 weeks.
• The State Supported Living Center currently has 10 openings for LVN/LPNs with a 6-month commitment for 40 hours per week.
• Working 8-hour shifts and 3 weekends out of the month.
