Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene is hiring LPNs/LVNs for full-time and PRN roles. The full-time rate ranges from $25.50 to $34.00 per hour, with compensation based on experience and certifications, plus generous shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital experience preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care aligned with the care plan and physician orders.
• Observe patient behaviors, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate directly with Registered Nurses to report findings and execute patient care plans.
• Cultivate meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
