Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene is seeking LPN/LVN professionals for full-time and PRN positions in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will provide direct patient care under physician orders and coordinate with RNs to monitor patient progress.

We offer competitive pay ($25.50–$34.00 per hour for full-time), experience-based compensation, and generous shift differentials. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered recovery.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• One year of experience in an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting is preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per care plan and physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses to report findings and update care plans.
• Build meaningful patient relationships to support recovery and comfort.
• Support patients through their rehabilitation journey and celebrate progress.
